Steingrund Akustik is currently seeking an event technician trainee to start an apprenticeship this summer. This entails a 4 and a half year education, similar to a regular tradesworker education, with alternating periods of schooling in Denmark and work experience at the company. You have the opportunity to choose a specialty in either sound or lighting. It's a full-time education and job. The workplace is at Steingrund Akustik in Runavík, and schooling takes place at EUC Nord in Frederikshavn, Denmark.

As an apprentice, you will work together with the rest of our team of skilled technicians. You will also collaborate directly with event organizers and everyone involved in performances. You will learn all about setting the right lighting in the right conditions, and you will also work extensively with sound setups and sound engineering. You'll learn a lot about equipment and how it's handled. The education is both practical and theoretical.

Tasks:

You will have these tasks, among others:

• Setting up and dismantling sound and lighting for concerts and other events.

• Running concerts, conferences, etc., either as sound or lighting technician.

• Preparation for large and small events, making offers, communicating with clients, etc.

• Maintenance of technical equipment.

• Assisting in various parts of the company as needed, such as installing technical equipment in churches, sound measurements at venues, and much more.
